Axiom #1: Differentiation

“The greater the complexity of a competitive market, the stronger the need for any given product to differentiate within that market.

For example, if there are only two private schools or colleges in a given market, they have the luxury of simply contrasting products and programs against each other. But, if a given market contains multiple private schools and colleges and a very diverse educational ecosystem, each offering must be differentiated enough to not result in high levels of competitive overlap.
