CGLA Odyssey Fundraiser a Huge Success

Ian keynoted at the Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy Odyssey Annual Fundraiser yesterday at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Nearly 900 attendees packed the ballroom to support the efforts of CGLA and learn about recent developments. Ian provided updates on the school vision, recent accomplishments, and future plans. CGLA is a two-time partner of the ISA JustCause Campaign, where we recently developed their second strategic plan. We developed their last strategic plan in 2013, the same year Ian last was featured at this event.

The vision of CGLA is “to inspire hope in each girl, positively changing her trajectory in life, and empowering her to possess infinite choices in the future”. The Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy is a single gender, small learning community for girls in grades 6-12. The college preparation curriculum is centered on Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). CGLA offers girls an accelerated and integrated remediation approach that is intended to move them to proficient and advanced levels within core academic subjects. A range of social supports that reflects girls’ social development needs are integrated into the educational experience.
