KUZA seeks a Development and Communications Specialist who will help KUZA achieve its strategic goals by communicating our message and building relationships with our current contributors, strategically grow our donor base, and cultivate relationships in the greater Portland community. This person will work closely with the Executive Director, the Board of Directors and volunteers to set funding goals and see that they are achieved. 

KUZA is a faith-based Portland area nonprofit that promotes development in Africa through higher education and leadership training. We’re passionate about sustainable development and we believe that the best solutions to fight poverty come from the nationals themselves. We focus on educating and equipping the next generation of leaders–specifically 17-24 year olds– so they make lasting changes in their families, communities, and the nation of Uganda.
