Holy Cow

Tomorrow evening marks the 10th Annual Holy Cow party hosted by Ian Symmonds & Associates.   The concept is simple: ISA supplies the food, the drink, the fun and the friends, while attendees simply come and make a donation of any amount to buy a cow through Heifer International. Together, we celebrate Christmas, the holidays, and provide new hope to those in need.

We are long-time supporters of both Heifer International and the One Campaign and their collective work to end extreme poverty. This year we will focus on using the proceeds from our party to buy as many cows as we can for Heifer International.  And, our Just Cause partner KUZA will also be at the party, sharing about their program and selling KUZA beads.  Since 2005, our Annual Holy Cow Party has made a difference, purchasing dozens of cows, goals, water wells, and even helped supply food for the local Portland food bank. And, hey, hundreds of our friends have started the holiday season off with a blessing. 

Consider hosting your own brand of a Holy Cow party in your market.  We all get together for the holidays; why not change the world and work to end poverty at the same time?  Cows can change the world!
