Position Announcement: Director of Advancement | The New School (AR)
The New School in Fayetteville, Arkansas seeks a Director of Advancement to lead enrollment and philanthropy efforts at the school. The Director of Advancement is a member of the senior administrative team and has principal responsibility for achieving the School’s short and long term enrollment and development goals. The director will manage the Advancement Team, which includes enrollment, development, marketing, communications, and front desk operations.
In 1971, The New School opened in Fayetteville, Arkansas as a non-profit organization with 24 students age three to six. Today, the independent school has more than 400 students from one-year-olds in the preschool through the 12th grade. Over the years, the school has seen substantial growth, in both the program and the leadership, but the philosophy and mission of the school have stayed very much the same.
The New School provides students in Northwest Arkansas with a student-centered, innovative education supported by state of the art facilities and leading educators. With a low student-to-faculty ratio of 8:1, students are known and cared for by an excellent faculty in an encouraging atmosphere. The school’s curriculum is focused on science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM).
