Independent Schools of Augusta

How important is it for independent schools and colleges to collaborate on the marketing front?  According to the three leading private and independent schools in Augusta.  Contrary to common misperception, most independent institutions of learning in a given market share far more common interests and agendas.  That’s where the three leading institutions in this Georgia city believed.

This past year, three preeminent independnt schools in Augusta – Augusta Preparatory Day School, Episcopal Day School, and Westminster Schools – joined forces to collaborate on positioning the important of independent education in the city.  With the help of ISA, they did brand research to learn how they shared common attributes yet distinguising features and, as a result, built a collaborate consortium.  The result?  Independent Schools of Augusta was formed, and a landing page on the web was launched this week with links to each of the schools and their social media feeds.

What’s next for this group?  They’ll be busy creating shared events, communications, and outreach in the community.  We’ll keep you posted on the upcoming developments in this innovative approach to promoting the value of independent schools.
